Pituitary tumours, also called pituitary adenomas, are the most common cause of pituitary gland disorders. These are abnormal growths that develop in pituitary glands.

SYMPTOMS

Depending on which particular hormones are affected, these are some signs & symptoms might include:

  • Body weakness with loss of consciousness

Non-tumour pituitary diseases like sarcoidosis, histiocytosis & hemochromatosis can infiltrate pituitary gland.
